   Our Elected Officials have generously pledged almost $500,000 for the playground!

  We would like to thank Alderman Ginger Rugai for co-sponsoring the "Movie in the Park" with Allstate

  State Representative Kevin Joyce has generously paid for the printing of banners advertising the website

  Alderman Ginger Rugai is generously paying for the hosting and maintenance of this website

   Corporations

CVS All Kids Can has generously awarded a grant of $40,000 through Boundless Playgrounds

Peoples Gas has generously pledged $20,000

The Chicago Affiliate of Fifth Third Bank has given a very generous donation of $50,000 to our effort

CN Railroad has graciously added $5,000 to the playlot.

Carson's had our group participate in its Community Day's giving in fall 0f 2006

Kohl’s Cares for Kids Safety Network at Children’s Memorial Hospital Playground Matching Grant Program has awarded the Mt. Greenwood Park Playlot Initiative $10,000

Founder's Bank has generously donated $5,000

Allstate Insurance: Hallberg/Valek Agency

Walgreen's has donated $2,000 

 

An "Evening with John Powers" generated over $4,000 this includes $250 from Loyola Press from book sales

At the "Winter Fest" at Mt. Greenwood Park we made $214 through t-shirt and bracelet sales

  We made over $17,000 at Playlot Palooza

St. Christina's School had a dress-down day and graciously donated the $300 proceeds to our effort.

A big thank you to Face-To-Face Salon 3502 W. 111th for donating their profits of $215 from the hair cuts and kids temporary hair coloring they did at "Party in the Park" - these ladies put in a long hard day and we greatly appreciate their effort and generosity.

The Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) has very generously donated $5,000 to the playlot initiative

We would like to thank the "Movie in the Park" Committee for their very generous donation and all their hard work to make the movie such a big success

Through the Student Council, the students and staff at Mt. Greenwood School raised $300 for the park project
